Override Internal Data to Group Movements within a Composition [Answered]

I know this has come up before, but my frustration level continues to increase. Roon has improved its grouping of movements within a composition for unidentified albums. It now seems possible to control that process.

But for identified albums, the data is wrong some of the time. The movements don’t always form a group under the composition. It seems this is more likely for rarely recorded works. The user has to be able to group movements while retaining the other internal metadata.

You can already do this with WORK, PART (and WORKID if necessary) file tags. For the album, you just need to select “Prefer file” for composition grouping metadata.

Thanks! I already had the tags set up, but I didn’t know about the “prefer file” for grouping metadata.
