hi,
I have noticed that with the latest version of Roon, when I delete the last playlist from the My Playlists > Imported the parent folder that the playlist was in is also deleted!!
This behaviour is new and should not be happening.
My Library is D:\Music and Roon automatically adds any new m3u files from the D:\Music\Playlists subfolder. I use this as a staging area for Roon to automatically include any newly exported playlist.
My Roon core is running on windows 11 pro 23H2 build.
Steps to reproduce:
- Export playlist from MusicBee to the D:\Music\Playlists folder - the newly exported playlist shows as being in the Imported folder in Roon under My Playlists
- Delete the old playlist from the Roon Playlists folder using Roon Delete Playlist function
- Use the Roon Copy function to move the playlist from the Imported folder to the Roon Playlists folder
- Delete the imported playlist from the Imported folder
In windows the D:\Music\Playlists folder has now been removed as well as the last playlist. If there are more than playlist in the folder this doesn’t happen only when the last playlist is removed.
Is anyone else noticing this?
To prevent the folder from be deleted I have added an empty *.txt file and the folder is no longer deleted if I remove the last *.m3u file via the delete playlist option for imported playlists.
Cheers
