Just trying to find out if something is possible. At the moment I have to feed my DAC a toslink optical signal because the USB input is being used by the DietPi for Roon.
I was wondering if it’s possible to connect the PC to the DietPi via USB to enable higher bitrates for non-Roon purposes? I’ve tried to do it but the PC doesn’t seem able to link directly to the DietPi - is there a way to make it happen?
You could try adding some other Media System options in diet that might be seen by the PC setup but with only the Roon Bridge option the PC will only see the DAC under Roon. Not sure what might work best but maybe the ReadyMedia one…?

Do note that I don’t play with windows audio nor UPNP or DLNA so I’m guessing as to what option will be best but its somewhere to start
