Previously reported as resolved, but issue has emerged once again. When adding albums to my library from Qobuz, everything looks fine, but if I leave the album page and return to it, the album shows as not in my library. A second attempt to add it results in a hanging spinning wheel which never stops. All attempts to add any other albums following this also result in infinite spinning and no adding to my library. It’s been like this for months. Please work on this. It’s very frustrating and ruins the combined Roon/Qobuz experience that is so appealing. Thank you.
This is normal behavior for Roon. When you add an album from Qobuz, Roon creates a new instance of that album in your library, so now there are two versions of that album, one in Qobuz and one in your library. As soon as you add the album Roon assumes you want to go to that library version and so it does. If you go back, you will be going back to the Qobuz version which is not in your library. If you try to add it again Roon will recognize that it already exists and you will get the spinning wheel from the analysis process. Simple solution, don’t go back to the Qobuz version. Go the to version in your library. If you want to reach it immediately go to the Home page and under Recent Activity select Added. You will see all your recently added Qobuz albums there.
Ok, but then how come when I go back to the album on Qobuz, the Roon library icon isn’t there?
Ha! Ok, I didn’t think to look in Recent Activity. Everything is there, even if in Qobuz there is no library icon. Thanks. Nobody suggested this the last time I posted this issue.
