Hi. I used to be able to ‘Edit’ an album to either delete a track or whole album using my phone (Pixel 8). That function only works from a PC or a Tablet now. Since I manage Roon mostly from my phone, it is a nuisance no longer having that ability. Any plan to restore that? Or am I missing something in configuration?

To my knowledge that’s not been a function available on a mobile phone platform for a very long time.
I can’t say forever as I was not here in the early days but definitely not for years.
Is the Pixel 8 a regular sized smartphone or more on the lines of a phablet?
Pixel 8 is a regular smart phone From a pixel tablet the functionality works. It seemed like a few months ago Edit appeared on phone, much to my surprise. But then was removed. Would like it and returned again if possible.

I think it was accidental on one update or another and then Status Quo was resumed.
That’s one for Roon to decide which way to go in the future though.
It should have never been there it was a bug I was the one that flagged it. Only tablet and PC can edit. Did you not notice half of the UI was inaccessible when using it on the phone due to it not being designed for the small screen.
Yes it appeared on Android Remote app as well maybe some 20 or 30 builds ago.
Found it practical to identify unidentified albums on the phone but the window layout was obviously not made for a smartphone screen so other functions basically unusable.
It was a nice function to have available on the phone. Given how much we’re on phones now instead of the PC, it was very convenient. Particularly I liked just being able to delete a track from my library. I hope this is a feature they return to the phone at some point.
If they add it, it will have to be in a form that’s not obviously broken.
