Perhaps there is some miscommunication. The Roon Nucleus is connected directly to the router - not through a switch. As is the CXN-V2. To the extent the Sonos is on a mesh network - ALL of the speakers are on the same mesh network, so there is no particular node. My understanding is (according to Sonos) Hardwiring one Sonos product puts all Sonos speaker on a mesh network which (they say) is of benefit. It has happened on ALL the speakers, so everywhere at different times.
I’m going to just say this. I think it’s time Roon acknowledges that Sonos are not compatible with Roon. It CAN work. It HAS worked, but I can go through here and see many who have all kinds of problems as well. Objectively - one can come to a reasonable conclusion that while it can work . . . largely Sonos products are problematic with Roon. Frankly, Roon has been problematic even with products that are Roon ready, like my CXN V2 and my EVO 150.
Hello @Urbndwellr ,
Thanks for the additional information. I took a look over your logs again and I noticed something interesting, it looks like you might be affected by a performance issue we are looking into regarding Qobuz content.
We have some changes related to this area in our next release, once this is available, can you please update to the latest Roon version and let us know if you notice any improvements in behavior? You’ll be able to tell in-app when the update is available or via our Software Release Notes - Roon Labs Community section if you set the category to Watching:
