Playing on Sonos skips to next song

I’m mostly playing music from roon on my Sonos endpoint (IKEA Symfonisk frame) in my office.

roon runs on Synology, with FLAC files on the NAS as well.

Quite often, the selected song will start playing for 2 seconds, and then skip to the next song in the album, which will play just fine.

This only happens on the Sonos, songs on ropieee don’t do that.

Any idea?

Frank I think there is already a thread open for this issue, if you want to track it down

Just to check, have you confirmed that your Ikea speakers are up to date?

Michael, thanks. Yes, everything up to date, network is fine - it plays just fine, just skips to a different song for no good reason.

I think a few people were reporting exactly the same issues. The update from Sonos (or IKEA in your case) fixed it for some from memory, but it was some time ago and I am in Italy on holiday or I would find the thread for you.
