Playlist Roon and Tidal

Looks like Roon has improved the back-and-forth integration of playlist between Tidal and other platforms as well, I use Tidal. In the past I found it necessary to create mirroring Playlist in Rood and Tidal which was a pain.

Looking for feedback on how other users efficiently use playlists so that if you add new music to a playlist, it will be updated on both platforms.

Or in other words I want eliminate dual playlist. I typically just hit the heart to add to favorites in the Tidal app if I like a song when listing in the car and then add it to a playlist later. I would use add to listen later if using Roon.

Hope that makes sense what I am asking.

Looks like the answer is Tidal based playlist, as Roon based are not seen in the Tidal app. Any downsides to that?

I create all my playlists in Tidal and they are mirrored in Roon pretty quickly. I guess the downside is that if you switch streaming provider you need to transfer them using something like Tune My Music. I also find Roon search is too frustrating to create playlists there.

I am very flexible because I use Spotify (free), Qobuz (free), and Chosic (Discover new music) to find new playlists and then transfer them to Tidal with Soundiiz (free).
This is not possible with Roon alone.

what is Chosic? obviously i coudl search but looking for your experience with it?

Does Qobuz have a free tier?

If you have a Tidal based playlist then you will have the same version in both Roon and Tidal app.

No, but I used to be a subscriber to Qobuz. After cancelling my subscription, I can still use everything, but the tracks only play for a maximum of 20 seconds.

Chosic:
