Unlike Jriver, Roon does not allow ripping new music, it is primarily used to scan existing music libraries. It also doesn’t not have other media capabilities like Video and photo support like jriver has. it is also annually subscribed or lifetime subscribed.
They will run side by side with no issues, so you can do a trial with both in place on the same hardware and OS
