Please add text selection in the roon app for easy copy paste

It’s really annoying we can’t select text for copy / paste the app. Like artist name, album name and track name.

If you have copyright issue with some content like tivo fine to block but not for other names.

It may be best to recommend that in the Feature Suggestions category rather than Support. A similar but not identical request was made in this thread:

As a workaround, I do this via the ‘share’ button, which you will find after tapping the three dots next to each album name, track, artist etc. From the share popup, you can select text.

Well, I don’t want to use an OCR for copy paste, that seems over-engineering for a simple feature. Share workaround isn’t really practical. IMO copy paste should be supported natively.

I understand that, but I mentioned it to give you an option until copy-paste is implemented, which might be in 10 years or never. Seems better than nothing.

Yeah, I find it pretty crazy a trivial feature like this isn’t even implemented. Plus it’s not a free software.
