I have added the streams you posted.
The 192 kbps mp3 still works for me so I left it there.
Edit: I also added the 128 mp3 from the site.
Are you sure? It has a ”mount does not exist” failure for me, and Roon automatically switches to playing the 128k aac stream instead.
I tried the 192 MP3 from Roon before I added any other streams and it worked (and still does work from Roon)?
I just tried the stream in a browser and I get the error you mentioned but it does not switch to another stream for me.
As a test I tried adding the 192 stream to the station (duplicating the original one that was there already) and it does not pass the test…but the original 192 stream still works for me… so, maybe it needs to be removed?
I don’t understand this.
Just to be clear - when you choose the 192 mp3 stream and show the signal path it says mp3 (and settles down at 192) not aac?
The stream URL shouldn’t exist. Maybe you have a cached version pointing somewhere else? Weird.
What I meant by “the Original 192 stream” is that there was only one stream when I first looked at the existing station, which was the MP3 192 stream. I added the AAC 128, AAC 64, and MP3 128 streams. I added them after checking that the AAC 192 stream worked in case the OP was having issues that I was not having.
Now that I am looking at it again today it says the “source” is AAC 44.1kHz with a variable rate (I was not verifying the signal path just that the stream worked).
MP3 192 shows (varying from ~76kbps to ~187kbps):
But then again all the streams seem to be the same AAC with varying rates, the only one that consistently get above 160kbps is the 192 mp3.
The other streams seem to drop to ~70kbps to 155kbps.
AAC 128 shows this:
MP3 128 showthis:
AAC 64 show this:
It seems like they are all the same AAC 44.1kHz except where the rate settles down to after a time? Unless i am looking in the wrong place for this info?
Ok, thanks for the info. Probably best to remove the link. The .aac at 128 probably better anyway.
I’ll do that.
