Description of Issue

I’m using Portmap.io to connect to internal devices from the internet. Port forwarding is not an option. This setup works well on other devices, and I have the Qnap connected as well. The trouble is the phone app is looking to my public ip address for a connection.

So, the question is can the ip address/url that phone app tries to connect to be changed?

I’ve moved your post to the software section where more network-savvy users can contribute, as Portmap.io is not an officially supported workaround for port forwarding at this time. That said, we’ll be following this thread and are happy to answer any questions.
