The OP doesn’t want to walk over to his NUC/Nucleus and press a button. He wants to do it from a Remote.

The post I’m replying to suggested using a device that would cut the power at the wall.

I’ve been here before. This from Apr '20 where restarting Roon from a Remote was discussed. Notice how it quickly devolved into a bunch of confused argumentative posts -

See, what the OP is complaining about (and I agree with the need for) is that for Roon under WIN10, macOS, and I presume Linux, there is no way to reboot Roon from a Remote. The capability just isn’t in the code.
