John Darko recently had an excellent podcast about noise creeping into the data stream… which leads me to wonder is there any way to test for noise in the final stream? It seems to me that this is a feature roon could offer.
The podcast also said that eliminating noise in the power supply is of critical importance. I already know this which is why I have a collection of wall warts, linear power supplies and a whole
Lot of PS Audio power conditioning gear. I know which combinations sounds bad but it’s hard to AB test all of them… is there a way to objectively test the noise in each without purchasing an expensive ossiliscope and enrolling in an electrical engineering course?
