Priortize recently added music in Arc Smart Downloads

I really love using Smart Downloads - the idea that some of my music will just magically be available when I lose connectivity without me having to manually download things is great. The set of things downloaded when Smart Downloads is enabled makes a lot of sense, it’s clearly a mix of things I’ve recently listened to as well as things I’ve recently added (along with some other fun random items).

Generally, the music I’m listening to the most at any given time will be the most recently added releases, but I’ve noticed that once the allocated storage is full, Smart Downloads doesn’t seem to download albums that have been recently added to my collection. For example, I purchased an album on the 16th May and as of today (23rd May), it still hadn’t been added to my Smart Downloads. For some context, my phone was plugged into charge every night connected to wifi and the album had been played 10+ times. If I delete a few items from Smart Downloads to free up some of the allocated storage, that album was immediately added. The feature is a little opaque, so I’m not sure if this is expected or not, but if so, I’d love for there to be a way to “encourage” Smart Downloads to prioritize recently added (in the last month for example) albums over recently played and other random items.
