This box contains 6 “discs” which represents 6 different concerts.
I want this to appear as 6 different albums , named after show dates.
I have tagged reach disc/folder with the metadata I want displayed. Import settings is to use file data. I have used the folder browsing in roon to group all files in respective folder and it is then displayed as an album to that effect, but is not displayed in the “Frank Zappa” discography listing in total, only some turns up in my library at all, but then those few are displayed correctly. I have deleted all and redone the import, over and over. But just two albums, off six, pops up in Discography. Browsing via folder in roon shows them correctly. Scratching my head… As you can see by the pics some albums appear in dsicography, some by folder browsing, some by search by album title, but not all at the same time in any mean of browsing.
Tagged all albums with the tag “Bootleg” (which it isnt) but just 2 albums showed up under “Bootleg” headline. But those are not the same albums that appear under newly added. This is all very strange and frustrating.
I think the underlying problem might be that TiVo is treating the different discs as different versions of the same album.
At the moment, that might be hard to unpick. You might want to manually re-identify each of your albums and pick the correct version for each, but it’s possible that the Roon Server is still going to want to merge some of them. (It’s not my area.) Another possibility is to run with these albums unidentified.
I’ll ping TiVo and see what they say though.
Thanks for the reply. I will remove all files from my server. I will edit metadata in the source files and remove all info related to the actual release, and re insert them, one by one, and see what happens.

Just two albums displayed, the other 4 shows are gone in the library .
