Yesterday KPN did a firmware update on my modem / router Arcadyan Experia Box v10A. Roon works fine, but Roon doesn’t see my two Meridian endpoints (818v3 and Ultra Dac). My Sonos endpoint works fine. I can see both Meridian devices (IP adress) in my network but not in Roon. I have temporary disabled my firewall, but still no Meridian endpoints…anyone an idea?
It could possible be a UDP issue - take a look in the routers settings for UDP, or multicast, or broadcast to see if any of those or something that looks similar has been disabled.
Problem solved, I got a tip from a friend, he advised me to connect the KPN router just with one cable to a separate switch. I followed his advice and Roon worked!
