Question: Is it possible to browse one's library be release date?

Quite often, when I am in a nostalgic mood, I like to create playlists of albums or songs that were released in a given year. Is there any way, for example, that I could browse through the albums in my collection that were originally released in, say, 1973?

Use Focus > Release Date; select the “View more” link at the bottom of the short list to open up the graphic, and use your mouse to select the rough date and then adjust the sliders to the year you want…

Thanks, Geoff! This is exactly what I wanted to be able to do.

Something else to try is to go to “tracks” and sort by the column titled “release date”

Or go to albums view and click the down arrow on the right above the albums and it brings the “sort by” list up. It appears to me that selecting “Date” sorts by release date, also:

That depends on settings and how you have tagged “original release date” and “release date”. It might be more important to you to know an album was originally released in the 60’s rather than the latest remaster in the 2020’s.
