I didn’t find a Thread for suggested Radio Stations, so I started one.
My station is a local and very eclectic station called the Gamut, because they play everything. This is for those who like a station which will always keep surprising you.

Just to clue you in on what I mean by eclectic, in today’s listening session I have heard tracks by
Portishead
The Buckinghams
Queen
Stabbing Westward
Old 97s
Chuck Berry
Jorma Kaukonen
Lea
Chris Thile
Beach Boys
Paramore
Panic at the Disco
Beatles
I guess no one needs a recommendation for Radio Paradise but just in case…
How do I find it? Wwfd or wwfd-hd1 don’t find anything.
I don’t use Roon for radio very often so I’m probably missing something obvious.
I only get the xrayfm. Regional?
It seems to be. Roon really needs to add an indicator to the Radio page if there is a region lock.
This is a direct feed. It might work?
That does it
I’ve just checked the website and found it played ok for me in the UK.
It seems the geo-restriction is not needed and I have removed it.
The station should now appear in searches for everyone.
Thank you kindly.
Classic Rock Florida.
Came across this station from another thread. If you are into Classic Rock, this is a good one. 24 bit, ad free.
Over a 2-3 week period there might have been only 3 or 4 songs that were repeated.

NTS Radio
Two live radio streams and an interesting & eclectic archive of music shows from across a wide spectrum of music. From Pharaoh Saunders, to sun kissed Balearica and underground dance music, via folk & blues and a whole host of other musical genres.
La Patate Douce
WFMU has a stream called Sheena’s Jungle Room. It’s simply the best streaming radio I have ever heard. Commercial free, mostly DJ free, and stuff that’s all over the map, from punk to big band and and everything in-between. Lots of humorous tunes also. I had my Shazam out and was furiously using it as one never-before-heard track after another popped up. Not the highest resolution stream, but it’s so much fun, you won’t care!
I like Jazz FM91 - a non profit station with limited advertising and a strong focus on Canadian Jazz - with varied programming focused on different jazz styles / formats
Great station
Thanks for this! Haven’t found a stream this eclectic since MPR’s The Current went “commercial”.
It did not work for me. Any other suggestions on how to add it to My Live radio?
You should be able to just search for it now.
WBGO. Best jazz station I ever listened to…also affiliated with NPR.
