Ah and Milk from Winamp. That still looks awesome today. Wouldn’t mind having Roon streaming that to my TV.
I run Roon primarily from linux and I confirm that James’ solution works. Has anyone thought about running projectM from an nVidia Shield? I have the Shield on my network and it runs fine. I installed projectM to the Shield. When projectM starts it cannot find any audio input, so it defaults to the nVidia remote’s mic input. So the mic listens to your room and interprets what it receives.
“Using Shield Controller for mic input” is the message that projectM displays. I will retrieve my Shield controller from storage to see if I can discern a difference between the remote and controller. This appears to work.
