Roon is the greatest thing to happen to mankind. The second greatest is a DAC made by Topping but Topping is not recognised in the list of manufacturers. It’s not a big deal cos my music sounds fantastic but y’know… would be nice to acknowledge my equipment. Not for me per se, but for the guys at Topping smashing out the quality better than the big names. Love Roon.

This ball is with Topping, they need to contact Roon’s partners team and then submit their DAC’s for either Roon Testing or Roon Ready certification as appropriate.
Once certified Roon will then identify them and display an icon representing the equipment.
I understand Roon do not charge for this process but do expect close collaboration from the manufacturer to resolve any issues identified.

Roon recognises the dac and tells me exactly the make and model, but I can’t find its icon. Just for completeness….
It’s just a dac tho… a link in the chain. Like a cable an amp or a speaker. I have a streamer that Roon recognises perfectly (Stack Link II).
