Somehow YouTube’s algorithm pushed these guys my way just after that kexp performance. I never find out about new music there usually. Instantly hooked by the videos. Searched for tour dates, nothing in London, then a few weeks later my ticket app let me know they were playing locally and tickets were going on sale in 5 minutes… It then sold out in less than 3 minutes, but I managed to get a couple of tickets so clearly the universe owed me that day. They’ve since switched to a bigger venue. Cannot wait…

X was the place that I first came across them. Seems they have good marketing. I like what I’ve heard so far. :+1:

Wow. There are so many artists I’ve never heard of in this list. I thought the only music released these days was Taylor Swift… Hmm. Are there any rock bands above doing music like the 1980;s or 90’s? Or anything an adult male of 50 years old may like? Please don’t respond with Ed Sheeran or Taylor Swift. Many thanks. in advance.

I would suggest following the What's Rocking You Tonight? [2026-08] - #820 by AceRimmer thread. It is restarted every month and is very eclectic in rock choices.

That being said, you could check out Spread Eagle’s latest. They are a band from the late 80s that are still around and their latest has a pretty good cover of UFO’s “Pushed to the Limit” track.
