Remote connection via VPN - [Resolved] but ongoing discussion

Straight out of the box no special config but you do have to know the ZT address of the roon server to plug into the client and of course you need ZT on the client device and have joined the network.

So if I run the ZT client on my firewall and broadcast a static route to my LAN on ZT portal (points all 1.x addresses to 193.x gateway which ZT uses), then I can ‘see’ the roon server and connect via IP when on 4G BUT discovery is broken so the phone is not seen as an endpoint

If I run the ZT client on the roon server directly, how to set the static route in ZT portal is my problem then

i didnt do anything on my router or firewall, nor set any static routes, but now that I use ROCK and ARC I dont use ZT for roon.

Ok thank you kindly. I shall tinker :slightly_smiling_face:
