For example, if the target volume is set to -17LUFS, the monaural volume will be about 3dBFS louder than the stereo (Pan Law issues), which is very noisy.
Volume leveling raises the volume by +3dB, and channel mapping makes it Mono to 2.0 Stereo Mix, so the volume rises (Pan Law issues). it’s very noisy (Probably the volume is +6dBFS louder in the signal path).
