Very sad. Producing and writing/playing on so many great records…and with one good ear!
The last few interviews with him were kind of sad, but he had some life! R.I.P

I think that it’s fair to say that he was a truly iconic song writer, who wrote several songs which were huge ‘hits’.
Songs which were an integral part of my formative years, and have lived with me ever since.

Another one bites the dust. Shame it took him so long to come back into the limelight. A troubled soul that gave us some amazing tunes that will outlast us al.
Not that I’m glad about getting older, but I am glad that I am old enough to have witness these guys in their heyday. It was something to behold.
