Yet another great talent gone…
Laine won two Grammy Awards with the band Wings. One for best pop vocal performance by a duo or group for “Band on the Run,” and the other for best rock instrumental performance for “Rockstar Theme.”
Laine was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018 for his contributions made as part of The Moody Blues.
