My first live concert.

“Belafonte at the Greek Theater (1964)” is, of course, one of his most loved recordings. He played there a number of times and my first live concert was seeing him there sometime around 1976.

We should remember him today not just for his music but for his life-long activism. He lived a long life and made a big impact.
