SiriusXM has announced a limited time channel just for Rush to honor Neil Peart. Of course, Rush fans are demanding it to be a permanent channel and have started a petition to make it happen.

Neil’s hero was Keith Moon who along with Jon Bonham were (arguably) the 2 greatest drummers of all time. When Neil’s passing is combined with Ginger Baker’s in October and Hal Blaine’s in March, we lost a remarkable amount of drum talent in the last 10 months. If you agree with the Rolling Stones’s 100 Greatest Drummers of All Time list, Stuart Copeland is the only top 10 drummer left alive.
