He had waves of success not only during the times of Dick Clark’s “Bandstand” but also later with The Captain and Tennille. He had a long and productive career. RIP.

One of the most special albums to me. Whenever I think of his music, I subconsciously hum Amarillo (with him) in my head.

This is a great piece of my local nostalgia

I have another story in relation to that show in Liverpool, but I’ll save it for a more appropriate time.

This is one of my favourites. In a weird way it’s still lyrically relevant.
