ROCK install on NUC with widows pre-installed

Hi just about to purchase a pre-loved NUC7i5BNK that comes with WIN11 pre-installed.

Re the ROCK install guide can I just start from item 2 (Preparing the BIOS) or do I have to reformat the drive first to get rid of WIN11 or does the formatting just happen during item 5?

You can just start from step 2B - you shouldn’t need to update the BIOS. Formatting the SSD will occur in step 5.

You could also just use Windows. Its not like ROCK gives you any benefit in SQ.
