ROCK on new NUC10i5FN not showing HDMI connection to Preamp

Hi all, First post after install.

I installed ROCK on my NUC and connected HDMI to my Preamp (Monoprice HTP-1), I’m not seeing a HDMI connected Roon server available, just the NUC without HDMI. When playing Roon it only sees PCM 2.0 as input, not 7.1 or whatever it should. I’m running a 5.4.1 speaker config.

I read a bunch of posts and checked that HD Audio was enabled in BIOS under Onboard devices, and all the other BIOS settings as stated in the ROCK install doc. I also tried running Roon version 2.0 build 257 early access version as was posted as a fix but still no luck.

Side note, I’m not sure how to get back to the latest ROCK version since I installed the early access version.

Is there something I’m missing or should I give up and install Windows 10 on the NUC? Or maybe just wipe it all an start over.

Have you set up multichannel output in the Audio device? You need to scroll down in the Device setup screen and show the Advanced settings (yes, there is no scrollbar…)
