Could I request some confirmation / clarity please with regarding updating ROCK on a NUC.
If you check for updates / update via Roon application (Settings → About) am I correct in thinking this checks and keeps the Roon Server Software up to date only.
How do you check the Roon OS is up to date? Or is this automatically done behind the scenes? I can see there is a reinstall option (via the web interface), but this seems rather extreme. Comments appreciated.

You can always find this information here:
If there are any new updates you will automatically be informed.
So no need to check for new updates - when there is new SW release you will see it when you start Roon app (remote).

Thanks Torben, but I believe this is the Roon Server Software element of ROCK, not the OS itself.
As others have already said, the Roon OS update happens automatically along with the general ROCK updates. Compare the release notes for the last Roon OS update;
