Contrary to what Google AI reported, ROCK will not run on a NUC 15 Pro. I tried every suggested BIOS setting, and even tried installing a SSD with ROCK already installed. Couldn’t get past the GRUB loader.
I ended up installing a headless Windows 11 Pro operating system. Roon seems to be running fine on it.

I have Rock running on a NUC 14 Pro + U9 with no problems.
I may well grab a nuc 15 and give it a go 
Out of interest did you (or anyone else) try this?
No havn’t got around to it. My NUC 14 U9 works really well and I have a spare one as a backup. Hard to justify the cost of experiment with the 15.
@Allan_Stein . I was able to solve this with a NUC 14. I am of high confidence that it would work for you by disabling all Intel BIOS security settings.

Understood, yet NUC 14 also isn’t supported and has the exact same GRUB boot issues as the 15 with no documentation or work arounds provided online.
I pulled my hair out for 30+ hours trying everything imaginable before coming to this solution which hasn’t been documented elsewhere.
It will take 1 minute to turn off the settings (or similar within the 15s BIOS) and give it try. Or don’t…. 
I tried the settings with an Asus Nuc 15 Pro ( RNUC15CRKU500002) and ROCK installed without a problem.

My idea of build is based on the slightly newer model, the ASUS NUC 15 Pro+. I was wondering if, after the installation on your NUC 15 Pro, everything is working as you would expect. For example, was the network controller recognized immediately? Is the system stable, and have you run into any issues?
Theoretically, the core driver differences between the Pro and the Pro+ shouldn’t be that significant, but given how new the hardware is, getting your direct confirmation would be incredibly helpful.

At the moment i’m still using an old NUC for ROCK. I just got a new Asus NUC at work that we use for presentations. Since i want to upgrade my server i wanted to test it to see if it’s working with ROCK. Network was recognized immediately and i could stream Qobuz.
AFAIK there is no hardware difference between the 15 Pro and 15 Pro+. It’s just the case, cooling and the CPU options. Chipset, WiFi, Bluetooth is the same.
I just installed ROCK on an Asus Nuc 14 Pro + following the post from Jesse_Fitzgerald with perfect results. I did consider the 15 Pro but the 14 Pro + was a nice price and Jesse_Fitzgerald had already proven this would succeed.
Why does a ROCK system have to be NUC, every PC can install ROCK system?

There is an official approved list of devices that Roon Labs supports.
Other devices can (may) run ROCK but they are not supported by Roon Labs, and there they may compromises dependant on driver / hardware combinations.
That said, there are community topics in the Tinkering section of the forum to help user running / attempting to run ROCK this way … have a search for MOCK to find them.
@chen_hong I had the same thing happen to me, and then I read the fine print: the 15 isn’t supported. Try version 12. That’s what I did. Works fine.
Are we confident that the ASUS NUC 15 Pro will work? And what RAM and SSD are folks using, please? I can’t find any NUC13 or NUC14 that are sensibly priced…
I use the Asus NUC 15 Pro+ with Roon Rock. You just have to change the Settings in the BIOS. Runs with 32GB RAM, 1TB 2242 SSD for Rock and a 4 TB SSD with my Music Library.
Just built a new rock on an Asus NUC 16 Pro i7 (yes, they are shipping again). Not for the faint of heart - RAM and M.2 drives are expensive due to data centers being built everywhere. I do like they fact that there are two M.2 drive bays (Gen5 and Gen4 - no adapter needed) (one Gen 5 - my OS (1TB, couldn’t find a smaller M.2 Gen5 drive) and one Gen 4, 2TB - my library). 25,000 track library. No issues getting rock up and running. Moving the library over was the tricky part, … But the community helped me figure it out. It’s the i.p. addresses you want to use to show them both in Windows explorer! My codec I downloaded didn’t work so I copied the one from my old nuc. Also, my database restore isn’t perfect. All my music is there and working, but my old playlists made through ROON over the years seems to have less tracks.?. That was yesterday. Did a ROCK reboot and my playlists have all the tracks back! I’m good. So good.
