Thanks - I’d assumed it would be like plugins and the filter would declare the delays.
My lack of understanding!

Isn’t that what the Zone grouping delay (ms) in Device setup is for?
No, it unfortunately isn‘t.
I think it used to be called resync delay and is meant to give DACs with slow PLLs time to lock.
I’m not talking about Resync Delay, I’m talking about Zone grouping delay (ms) further down in the advanced settings.
Whatever it‘s called, it dorsn‘t work the way you might think, as I had to find out when testing it.
I bought an iPad just for this and I already had UMIK 1. I turned off the bass because anti-mode fixes it. It was easy to use as I had already read the instructions many times, but always ended up not buying iPad. I recommend it!
edit. or did I wrong when I turned bass off?
Can’t you just create zero db FIR filters for your other zones? So to introduce the delay without any actual correction.
Try “Speaker Polarity” on app store to quickly find out the right phase of your sub at your listenin spot
hi. so I purchased housecurve , made the measurements with the file for Roon. played the file with Roon and measured them with a iPad Pro (m2).
but before I mess up my loudspeakers with some crazy boost or something I thought its better to post the screenshot here, maybe someone could take a look if its alright.
I applied -6db headroom in room. Loudspeakers are the wharfedale super Linton, harman target curve
Apparently I was just wrong… The bass got so strong that I had to turn the gain down a couple of notches. Thanks!
Hi, trying HouseCurve now with single stereo files, export all sample rates and zip. working as expected.
What would a .cfg file look like for separate left and right files and multiple sample rates please?
I think so, but there’s a tradeoff. The current FIR transitions to linear phase above ~200 Hz. To do that it has a small amount of pre-ring before the impulse peak. If that’s removed, I think the filter would behave like a high-resolution PEQ. Imaging wouldn’t be as good, but really, the difference is subtle. Lower latency might be more important for some use cases.
I had plans to make HouseCurve output different kinds of FIR, but wasn’t sure what the choices should be. Perhaps a low/zero latency and a hifi option?
There’s some links to examaple .cfg files here: https://help.roonlabs.com/portal/en/kb/articles/dsp-engine-convolution#Convolver_text_configuration_support
Hi Greg, all working now, multiple sample rates, independent L/R channels, thanks for the great app. Will look out for future developments.

So I finally got around to trying the Zone Grouping delay (I waited until my wife was out - this sort of thing drives her crazy).
I had to add this to the ‘other’ zones - the ones that didn’t have the FIR filters (I probably will change to FIR filters where I use HouseCurve - but I don’t correct all my zones)
Oddly it needed to be 200ms rather that 250ms - does that makes any sense to you @Greg_Wilding ?
Anyhow it does seem to be working. I’ll leave it running and see how I get on.
