A new maintenance release of Roon is now rolling out. This release includes a handful of bug fixes and performance improvements, in addition to changes to our Radio feature based on user feedback.
We’ve received a lot of great feedback about our new Radio algorithm, including hearing from a number of you about selections that were seemingly unrelated to the original content. We’ve been investigating, and the changes in this release are designed to mitigate these selections, and improve the relevance of Radio’s selections. We look forward to more feedback and ongoing iteration, so please let us know how it’s working for you!
This release also includes a number of bug fixes, including a fix for a long-standing bug related to Linux Cores running with network storage. This bug could cause the Roon Core to lock up for periods of time ranging from a few seconds to a minute or more, at times causing remotes to disconnect, particularly when importing from lower-performance NAS storage.
That should do it for this release. Thanks all!
