Today we are issuing a minor update to address several small issues which have been reported since our last release.
Changes address reported bugs with convolution filter uploads, internet name resolution, and implementation of Roon’s MQA decoder preferences. In addition, we have implemented some additional tooling which will allow our support team to better isolate some reported issues with iOS crashes.

Roon 1.8 (Build 1021) Release Notes
Roon Build 1021 is now rolling out for macOS, Windows, Windows (64 Bit), Roon OS, and Linux.
Updated versions of Roon for Android and iOS have been submitted to their respective App Stores and will be available soon.
No update to Roon Bridge this time
All platforms and apps should update automatically.
Changes for Build 1021:
- Resolved an issue where uploading convolution filters with a certain file size could destabilize Roon
- Resolved an issue where core improperly processed DNS responses
- Implemented more tooling to troubleshoot crashes on iOS
- Added “No Preference” string to translation tool
- Resolved an issue where MQA Core Decoder setting will auto-disable on app restart under certain conditions
