Roon 1.8 reminds me of Microsoft from the late 80's and early 90's

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)

Nucleus Core

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)

Fibre Internet with Modem/WiFi Router

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

If you worked and lived through the PC industry in the 80’s and 90’s, this upgrade is up there with the very best of Microsoft “stuff ups”.

This is those nightmares relived. Errors, fix that, new error, fix that, new error, give up!

How does an upgrade become a downgrade?

So many errors and missing or not working features that were perfect in 1.7…

Roon, own up and communicate with your customers and explain what your plans are

Yes I worked … those were good years for Microsoft and for me with Microsoft.
As you can see, the world of emotions is very relative…

Hi. Lucky you to be on Microsoft side. We poor vendors had to do hours and days of beta testing and fixing with no compensation from Microsoft. But there were a lot of fun times. Remember “floppy disks”?
