With the holiday season upon us, our team has been hard at work ensuring your time with Roon and ARC is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
To that end, we’ve addressed several key issues to enhance your overall experience. For ARC users, we’ve addressed a number of playback errors, including resolving the “playback failed open” error. We’ve also improved the login experience to prevent unexpected logouts and fixed iOS-specific login failures when using passwords from iCloud Keychain.
For Roon users, we’ve worked on enhancing your library experience, addressing issues like split of VA albums during rescans and a Qobuz sync hiccup that could cause albums to go missing. On the playback front, we’ve resolved playback issues by fixing compatibility with SMSL DACs and ensuring smooth streaming over AirPlay on Roku devices.

- Added feedback toasts on successful ban or unban actions in ARC
- Resolved an issue where the Equalizer on/off state was not preserved when switching between presets in ARC
Installation
Cores, remotes, and ARC installations already running Roon 2.0 Production should update automatically. If you need to reinstall, the latest builds can always be found on the downloads page.
