Hello Everyone,
We are continuing to refine some of our recent additions to Roon with some additional polish for localized metadata as well as some refinements for IPv6 support and .NET6 for Windows. Please see the list below for changes.
As with last week’s build we are still experiencing an issue with the .NET6 implementation on Windows breaking automatic updates. We are working to fix this problem we do not yet have the final work complete and through QA. Rather than hold up everyone we are releasing with the following caveat for those with cores or remotes on Windows:
- Your windows core or remote WILL NOT update automatically from the server nor will you be presented with an update prompt in Roon
- To take this update you will need to download the installer from the links provided below and reinstall on top of your existing intallation
- To avoid confusion please note that ONLY THE LINKS BELOW WILL GET YOU THE PROPER WINDOWS INSTALLERS. Links that we have posted in the past for early access builds will not work.
- You do not need to do anything else here – just download the installer from this link and run it

- Resolved multiple cases where Roon was saving the improper scrolling position of certain details pages
- Resolved an issue where it was not possible to add certain recordings to a playlist
- Various minor bug fixes and UI improvements
Installation
Cores, remotes, and ARC installations already running earlyaccess should update automatically. If you need to reinstall, the latest earlyaccess builds can always be found at the following links.
