Hey Everyone,
We’re rolling out a production update for both Roon and Roon ARC focused on connectivity, performance, and reliability.
In Roon, we addressed a regression introduced in 2.54 that could cause zones to rapidly disappear and reappear for some customers — this update restores the expected behavior. We also fixed crashes on macOS 26 (Tahoe), resolved a macOS-specific case where zones could go missing after restarting during an update, restored the back-swipe gesture on Android 16 remotes, and improved automatic port forwarding over UPnP/NAT-PMP to better handle complex or multi-NAT setups (note: this does not bypass CG-NAT).
ARC also includes improvements, with reduced battery and CPU usage, restored macroscrolling in browsers, shuffle playback on CarPlay and Android Auto, and other minor fixes and polish.
As always, we appreciate your feedback and support!
