I wonder if there is any intent to make Roon AES 67 compatible? This would help those of us that have a more complex network at home than the standard flat layer 2 network with a single broadcast domain.
I am using Roon with a Merging Hapi which uses Ravenna/AES 67. I use Merging’s Core Audio driver, and everything works great. Is there something specific you would like to see added to Roon?
I am looking at the network transport layer implementation as with full AES 67 implementation it should be routable between IP subnets which is not possible between Roon server and Roon endpoint today.
