Roon API ports needed to be open

Hi @danny,

I have the example running, but I have to disable the local firewall of my dev PC to let it find the core on the network. Is there a certain port range I have to open up, or do I have to disable the firewall completely?

Brian described the ports used by RAAT in this post.

I had these ports already opened, but it not sufficient to get it working.
I now accept all traffic from the core IP and that works.

are you able to run roon on that machine? it should be identical

I had my core running on that PC (Fedora 24) before I moved to a NUC.
At that time I accepted all traffic from the endpoint IP to get things working.
Now using the same approach to get extensions working.
