Roon app alters iPhone device volume

When I change the volume of my Auralic in Roon iOS app, the volume of the phone itself is also altered to the new setting.
Lock Screen controls are off.

I’d like to start by giving some insight into why this is happening: With the latest release, we added the ability to use the hardware buttons on mobile devices to adjust the volume of your zones.
