Roon ARC carplay: How to use?

Hi,

I’m opening this thread as I just don’t get the point. I’m not sure how ARC carplay is meant to be used. Let’s say I want to play a specific title, I see following possibilities:

  • Browse by album: Well, I currently have 1172 on my server. The list is useless as I cannot scroll through all of them
  • Browse by artist: 223, same
  • Recently added: I want to listen to a track added two weeks ago
  • Siri: Not working
  • Browse by composer: Not there
  • Search field: Not there

How am I supposed to find anything?

Keep you eyes on the road and just play something. I usually grab one of the daily playlist.

EDIT: My point is, I don’t expect or want Roon ARC to act like a full featured Roon application. I want a much slimmed down application that can quickly get my music going without causing me to have a wreck looking for albums and artist, etc.

If I wouldn’t care about the music playing I’d turn on the radio.
My expectations are a bit higher.
