I haven’t really had much opportunity to use Roon ARC other than as part of Apple CarPlay. That has worked out pretty well all things considered.
Yesterday I found myself using Roon ARC to stream music from my server for several hours without issue while on a long domestic US flight. American Airlines now offers complimentary WiFi on its flights so I figured I would try it out and was really impressed with how it all held together. I was also able to EQ my headphones and setup a standard profile in MUSE which is another tool I have not had much time to explore.
I was using the latest ioS ARC app on my iPhone 17 Pro Max. At home, I have a headless Roon server on a dedicated M4 MAC Mini.
