Not sure if this has been discussed. But could there not be an optional fixed volume for ARC in case an external DAC is connected to the phone? Similar to the roon remote.
Had the same question today. I use an iPhone with Chord Mojo as external DAC. There is a balance control but vol control is missing from my perspective, too.
