Any chance of getting Roon ARC added to the options for listening on Google Maps, so that Google Maps voice prompts can be used in the car and it will also be possible to listen to Roon ARC? Or is there already a way to do this that I am missing?

At the moment, that appears to be impossible, because Google Maps lets only certain enumerated music apps be selected for listening. I find that when I run Roon ARC and Google Maps simultaneously, I can listen to Roon ARC just fine, but the voice prompts from Google Maps disappear. Any thoughts?

Are you using the entertainment system in the car or just the phone speaker?
Also, what sort of phone?

I am using Apple Car Play via the Smartphone Connection option on my dashboard screen (USB-C connection). As for my mobile phone, it is an iPhone Pro Max 15.

Arc does work on carplay, so Iā€™d put in a post in the support area, including the car model and year.
