Roon ARC Network Timeout and Configuration Issues (ref#7LLL1M)

Roon arc is stated as not ready in settings and gives the following error message

Describe your network setup

I have followed the instructions on the troubleshooting page with no success. I have a modem butthe routing duties are performed by a TPLink Deco mesh system. I cannot locate the UPnP or NAT-PMP configuration settings on the configuration screen for either.

I downloaded tailscale as suggested and set that up on my ROCK and android mobile; both are shown as connected. My library is located on a Synology NAS and so I also installed Tailscale on that which is also showing up as connected.

I still can't get Roon ARC to work.

It has occasionally worked for brief periods in the past but i have to say it has always been very unreliable.

Update.

Problem resolved with the tried and trusted “switch everything off and turn it all back on again” method.
