Roon ARC not connecting to Roon Server....or says poor connection

Hello all…
My Roon ARC app on my Apple iphone 12 PRO states that there is poor connection to the Roon server and then after a while says can’t connect to the Roon server…
Just to clarify the Roon Server which is Roon software (on my Apple Macbook PRO late 2013 intel i7 2.8 GHz MacOS Big Sur 11.7.10 memory 16GB) doesn’t need to be open …does it? for Roon ARC in order to work…?

Found the answer to my question above…You need Roon server to be on …in this case Roon server is Roon on my Apple Macbook Pro. It needs to be on and open.
In this particular case the Roon server wasn’t on or macbook pro wasn’t on.

Also, Roon is the Roon client. That does not need to be running. Roon Server does need to be running to play music or to use Roon ARC. They are two different programs on your Macbook.
