Roon ARC Playback Pauses on Google Pixel 6a [Ticket In]

After a while of playback in the background, Arc often pauses. If I then unlock my phone and navigate back to Arc, it will start playing again, but I have to kill the app and restart it to get playback to work properly again. I’ve noticed that the Arc persistent notification is not displayed when the problem occurs, and then reappears once I kill and restart the app.

I’ve switched to a new daily driver phone (Fairphone 6), and I’m seeing this problem there as well. To clarify the steps of what I see a little (as far as I can tell):

1. Open Arc after not using for a few hours
2. Start playback
3. Lock phone
4. Playback stops after some seconds and Arc notification disappears
5. Playback resumes when reopening Arc but notification is still gone
6. Killing and reopening Arc fixes issue

Thanks for the the ping letting us know that the issue is still ongoing. I’ve recently spoken to the team regarding your report and I am trying to get this issue prioritized for the dev cycle. Thanks again for the steps, and I remain hopeful that we can make progress on this sooner rather than later.

Still present Arc 1.71 (377).

(I’m not trying to spam here btw, just making sure I report when I run into it as reproducing on demand isn’t always reliable)

Thanks for the update - as @noris has mentioned, there isn’t anything else needed from our end, we have a ticket in with development who have identified this as a long-standing issue affecting different Android devices.
